The law office of Fulton, Devlin & Powers, LLC was founded in 1997 by C. Patrick Fulton and Judson F. Devlin. Lyn Douglas Powers became a Member of the firm in 2017. Our experience in workers’ compensation ranges from handling pre-litigation matters to defending workers’ compensation claims in litigation to successfully arguing cases before the Kentucky Supreme Court. We handle all types of workers’ compensation matters in Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia, including defense of injury, hearing loss and occupational disease claims and prosecution of medical disputes. We practice before the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims, the Indiana Workers’ Compensation Board and the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner. We defend federal black lung claims before the U.S. Department of Labor. We handle appellate work before the Workers’ Compensation Board, Kentucky Court of Appeals, and Kentucky Supreme Court. We also regularly handle workers’ compensation subrogation cases in state and federal courts in Kentucky and Indiana. Finally, we represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators before the Department of Workers’ Claims in non-litigation matters.
