Stanley S. Dawson

Stan was born in 1965 in Versailles, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He has represented employers and insurers in the areas of workers’ compensation, Federal Black Lung and subrogation since 1991, and has lectured on workers compensation and Federal Black Lung issues at legal seminars. Stan also previously served as in-house counsel for a major mining concern, handling mine safety and health, environmental, corporate and transactional matters. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, as well as the U. S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Tenth Circuits. Stan and his wife, Ellen, live in Louisville and have two children.
