David grew up in Stafford, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a degree in political science with a concentration on legal studies. David went on to receive his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Louisville Brandies School of law in 2024. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2024. David is an enthusiastic sports fan, specifically football and basketball.

He resides in Louisville and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Alicia, and their St. Bernard, Baymax.
